Dear friends of the Ralf Schumacher Kart Center,
Unfortunately we have to keep our doors closed until February 14th, 2021 in order to do our part to protect the health of the population. As sad as we are about the renewed restrictions that lockdown brings for all of us in our everyday lives, we would not like to miss at this point thanking you for the overwhelming loyalty that you have shown us - especially in the last few weeks and months - have held to thank you very much!
Of course, we will contact all affected customers as soon as possible in order to plan alternative appointments together.
For the coming weeks we wish you a lot of strength, endurance and, of course, first and foremost health!
We are already looking forward to getting started again with you!

If you want to go karting in Hamburg and the surrounding area, the Bispingen kart track is your first address, because it is one of the most modern in Europe. With the Ralf Schumacher Kart Center you will find a facility that is second to none in Germany. But anyone who thinks that only die-hard kart fans come here to pursue their passion will be taught better: The Bispingen kart track attracts over 200,000 visitors of all ages every year, families can experience spontaneous driving fun here as well as groups for which special arrangements are offered. The go-kart system of the former F1 and DTM driver Ralf Schumacher is also the right choice for conferences, incentives and customer events. Located directly on the A7 in the Hamburg / Hanover / Bremen triangle, the Kart Center offers the right setting with four variable, soundproof conference rooms in a fully air-conditioned building and modern technical equipment. Both the restaurant and the conference rooms provide an excellent view of the racing action.
One of the most modern ventilation systems of its kind automatically ensures that there is good air in the hall all year round. You will look for the smell of benzene here in vain, since the 8.5 hp karts are powered exclusively by gas. The outdoor track can also be used in bad weather: There are enough rain suits available and they are provided free of charge. The experience of the last few years shows that driving in the rain is a very special attraction and a great driving pleasure.
From 12 years and at least 1.55 m in height you can experience 70 km / h high speed in 8.5 PS karts. For children from the age of 8 and a minimum height of 1.35, electrically motorized karts with shortened construction and reduced performance are available in the indoor area. The very little ones can do their first driving tests in electric vehicles on two special routes outdoors in spring and summer.
The outdoor go-kart track was developed and built by Ralf Schumacher and Jörg Schlüssler as early as 1996. Outdoor go-kart tracks are few and far between in Germany, the success of the track finally led to the planning of the indoor track. The futuristic building made of glass, steel and concrete was inaugurated in November 2001. The air-conditioned interior is a true Eldorado for racing enthusiasts, but also for everyone who might just want to get a taste of it. Anyone who decides to ride in one of the karts will receive a detailed briefing - this includes the driving characteristics of the karts as well as flagship and safety information that must be taken into account on the track. Helmets are provided - and then we can start.
The fleet consists of around 100 karts that are technically serviced every day. The vehicle fleet is exchanged for the latest models every year, which also ensures that innovations in the area of kart production are implemented as quickly as possible. A safety concept created in accordance with the DIN ISO standard ensures that drivers can indulge in uninterrupted driving pleasure. Minimal ground clearance - maximum pleasure - Formula 1 feeling - even for beginners!
